Overview
Ms. Dorfman is an associate attorney with the Firm and represents federal and state employees, law enforcement officers, private employees and labor unions in a number of employment and labor law matters. In addition, Ms. Dorfman devotes a high percentage of her practice to representing federal employees in arbitration matters before the Merit Systems Protection Board. Ms. Dorfman also advises and represents individuals needing legal assistance in other federal administrative agency areas.
Ms. Dorfman graduated with honors from Tufts University with a concentration in Political Science and graduated with honors from Boston University School of Law where she was also an Edward F. Hennessey Distinguished Scholar. While at Boston University, Ms. Dorfman was the Executive Editor of Communications for the Annual Review of Banking and Financial Law and received top honors in various moot court competitions including first place at the Sutherland Moot Court Competition held at Catholic University. Ms. Dorfman is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia and has filed an application, which is pending, for admission to the District of Columbia Bar. In the interim, Ms. Dorfman is practicing law in the District of Columbia under the supervision of John V. Berry, Esq.
